Der Pilatus von Westen

A similar view is shown in the oil sketch of the same type in the Museum Reinhart, Winterthur, 'Der Pilatus in Wolken', dated 20 Sept. 51. View from the west from the rear Eigen valley, the location is closer to Pilatus, presumably from the rock plateau on the right in the Winterthur picture. On the left the Tomlishorn, the highest peak of the mountain massif, to the left the ridge of the Oberhaupt and the Klimsenhorn. Source
