We have 13 artworks by Heinrich Freudweiler online. We have 1824 paintings online.
Johann Caspar Rahn was born in Zurich in 1769 and died in Warsaw in 1840. This was the beginning of the young landscape painter and draughtsman's career, which took him to Rome for several years and later, after a stay in Switzerland, to Vienna. Waterfalls are a recurring motif in the oeuvre of the painter, who was enthusiastic about Ruisdael and whose style is characterised by fidelity to nature.
