Henry Moore1898 Castleford – 1986 Perry Green, Hertfordshire

Based on a maquette created in 1956 and the working model according to which the present bronze was cast, Henry Moore created the sculpture in front of the UNESCO headquarters in Paris in Roman travertine (length 5 m) in 1957/58.
