Emile Joseph-Rignault1874 Varzy (Nièvre) – 1962 Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (Lot)

Rignault stopped painting relatively early and devoted himself to collecting and trading in art, especially Soutine. He donated his collection to the Musée Calvet in Avignon, and bequeathed his house and fortune to the commune of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie for exhibitions.In: Kunsthaus Zürich.
