We have 1 artwork by Francisco López Caro online. We have 1824 paintings online.
Formerly ascribed to Alejandro de Loarte, or even thought to be Italian, stylistic relationships are evident with a bodegón by López Caro, a fellow student of Velázquez at Pacheco (see William B. Jordan/Peter Cherry: Spanish Still Life from Velázquez to Goya (London 1995; = Exhibition Cat. London, National Gallery) p. 101 f., fig. 73). The jug is likely to have come from a Sevillian manufactory (note by Rudolf Schnyder, 1998).
