Stylistically determined by the ferrarian school of Cosmè Tura. The internal framing and the landscape background are reminiscent of Mantegna, for example its 'Georg' (Venice, Accademia). Several missing parts, especially in the background. Mauro Natale (verbally 2005) considers an attribution to the school of Bologna, in the vicinity of Antonio da Crevalcore, around 1480/1490.
